A restaurant in Cologne has opened where diners can enjoy the ultimate eating experience - in complete darkness. The Unsichtbar maintains a strict policy of absolute darkness in the restaurant to the extent that watches with luminous faces, and mobile phones with fluorescent displays are banned, as well as smoking. A blind head waiter leads customers to their places, and the food is judged on taste alone. Although not the first time that a similar concept has been seen, the restaurant is reported to be serving excellent cuisine, and has enjoyed positive feedback.
